9 Square Bar and Café (Bandung)

9 Square is a popular bar, restaurant, and café in Bandung. It is located just in front of Shelter nightclub, on Jalan Sulanjana. There is nothing fancy inside: You'll just find sofas and small tables where people hang out with their group of friends. Avoid it if you are alone.

As with most Bandung nightlife venues, it is cheap: You can share a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka for less than Rp500,000 and a 3L beer tower for Rp150,000. They have a DJ starting 9pm until 1 AM, every night. The music is progressive, Top 40, house and sometimes Rn'B.

In spite of being a laid-back, unpretentious hangout spot, the management organizes quite many events, almost every week. In general, they invite local famous Female DJ. You can check their Instagram account for the list of upcoming parties: Nine Square Bandung.
