Update 24th October 2016 : 17 Moroccan prostitutes were arrested in De Leila over the weekend, yet strangely no newspaper was mentioning the name of the club. This is the review I wrote about the venue in March 2016: De Leila is an arabic nightclub located on the 8th floor of FX Sudirman, where Privé used to be. It is a popular party spot for tourists from the Middle East and particularly Saudis, Qatari and Emiratis. You have a few other nationalities such as Egyptians, Iranians, Turkish and Omanis. Even though most customers are Muslims, alcohol and prostitutes are widely available.
Arabian Tent is the Arabic café next to the famous restaurant Al-Jazeerah ( see my review about it on this blog here ). To date, I can say this is the most authentic shisha lounge you will find in Jakarta. Most of the patrons are foreigners from various Arab countries (mostly Saudi Arabia), and you'll probably be wondering if you are still in Indonesia... Overall : Arabian Tent is a good find. We just tried a tea and a shisha, both were very good. but unfortunately I didn't feel comfortable nor welcome there. For this reason, personally I would not go back.
Tiga Kuda is a popular bar for middle easterners/arabs inside Hotel Menteng (be careful, there are 3 hotel Menteng in the area). Arab music but not only. Lots and lots of prostitutes, with also some belly dancing sexy shows. The entrance fee is 60,000 rp. Same comment than for De Leila about the specificity of this place regarding the girls sexual practices there...
