Sunday or Saturday brunches in Jakarta are one of the best things you can do here during the weekend. The prices are usually very reasonable without alcohol, starting 30$ per person.
I only listed here information about the weekend brunches available in luxury hotels. You also have many brunches served in independent restaurants, but they generally do not have as much choice and they are not served as buffets. You can try those in Loewy or Koi for instance.
This is the list of the best weekend brunches in Jakarta, ranked in no particular order. Please leave a comment below if you think I forgot a great address.

Thanks for this, so nice to actually have the prices for all of these together since the hotels rarely list them on their sites. I've been partial to the one at Pacific Place but their selection of mains, while excellent (best eggs Benedict in the city I've tried so far) has gotten a bit repetitive. Might splash out on Bengawan sometime, sounds good. What's your personal recommendation?
ReplyDeleteHi thanks... I didn't try all of them but I like Lyon and Scusa... probably because French and Italian cuisines are my two favourites...
DeleteInteresting you left out Satu @Shangri-la and The Cafe @Mulia perhaps two of the most famous and popular weekend brunch spots with a huge range of food to choose from?
ReplyDeleteHi thank you, I will add them.. I only knew they had an all-day buffet until now...
DeleteHi Man,
ReplyDeleteThanks, this is exactly what i needed!!
Wonder if you have the list for seafood and dinner buffet place too!
BR
Mike
These Places all so expensive? where is a decent but affordable Brunch?
ReplyDeletehanamasa lol
DeleteThibaud,
ReplyDeleteThanks for the recommendations. I've tried a few of the places since you posted the article.
Sana Sini is a solid choice for the variety and price. A few months ago they were actually including free flow Beer Bintang at no extra charge, but that has since stopped.
I was disappointed with both the Pacific at Ritz Carlton Pacific Place as well as the Satu at the Shangri-La. I thought they were overpriced based on the selection and quality of food.
Another place that I thought was decent was the buffet at The Kafe in Hotel Kristal. Nice selection and a good price of around Rp 200.000 per person with coffee, tea, and juices. Not a brunch really since they are open from 06.00-10.00 every day. +62 (021) 750 7050
Where is that first picture from, just under the article title?...looks delicious
Keep up the great work!
Monty's has a Sunday brunch with free flow Dom Perignon Champagne too...
ReplyDeleteThe brunch at Rosso's today was great. I loved the fresh seafood and the trolley bringing fresh oysters on the half shell right to the table. The Italian antipasto, fresh pizza and Waygu beef roast were super. Very attentive service. Price now 490.000 IDR buffet, 740.000 IDR buffet + free flow alcohol.
ReplyDeleteDo NOT bother with Monty's. The cost for free flow alcohol plus food ended up costing each person almost 2juta and there was NO sign of Dom Perignon champagne. When asked the manager said, "this is only a marketing tool to get people in." Overpriced and neither food nor drink was worth the ridiculous money spent.
