Suis Butcher (Bandung)

Suis Butcher is the most popular steakhouse in Bandung. The steaks are good (as long as you order imported meat) and the prices very reasonable. It is similar with Abuba Steak, only with a less boring setting and better french fries.

There are two branches in Bandung, and the one I went to is in Setiabudi. It was quite crowded with locals, families, friends and couples. It is simply decorated but cute, with red and white checkered tablecloths and vintage pics on the wall.

The service was really fast: I had barely ordered that my two dishes, the Bratwurst (Rp35k++) and the Imported Entrecôte (Rp60k++) were already on the table. The Bratwurst is nothing like one you could get in Germany and I wouldn't recommend it. The Entrecôte was not the best I ever had (not tender enough), but for the price I paid, it was excellent value.


Conclusion: Highly recommended eating spot in Bandung, but stick to the imported steaks.
