In 1996, Toscana was one of the first Italian restaurants to open in Jakarta. Since then, its reputation has grown and for many people, it is the best of them.
Though it is an upmarket restaurant, you will notice that the interior is very simple. Actually, in my younger years I was working as a waiter in an Italian restaurant and it looked just like Toscana. Also, the service is fast and friendly.
The Chef of Toscana, at the time of writing, is an Italian, and you can feel the food is authentic Italian cuisine. Dishes are delicious, probably as good as anything you could taste there. Consequently, prices are European (Rp. 200,000 ++ for a meal).
Well-located in Kemang, it is very popular with expats, especially for dinner. During the weekend, do make a reservation because Toscana is always full.
Open everyday from 10am to 3pm and from 6pm to midnight.

The food is amazing! One of the best Italian restaurants in Jakarta. The service was very good and well trained. The marinara pasta and their toscana pizza was superb. I remember how packed it was at around 7 pm so its better to come before that time to get a seat.
