Nikki Beach Bali

By Jakarta100bars →
Nikki Beach is planning to open its 11th Beach Club in the World in Bali in the second half of 2014. The famous brand already has locations on the hottest beach destinations worldwide such as Mallorca, Marbella, St Barth, Phuket, St Tropez, Miami, Ibiza, Koh Samui, Cabo, Marrakech. Founded by an American, Jack Penrod, the concept of the Nikki Beach is to be as bling bling and ostentatious as possible. A look at the pictures from their other beach clubs (above and below) will give you an idea. Even though the prices and style of Nikki Beach Bali will probably not suit everyone, it is still a welcome addition to the island. We can expect it to make the Nusa Dua area a bit less sleepy in terms of nightlife and events. Other luxurious beach clubs that you may want to check in Bali: Ku De Ta , Sundara , W Hotel , Potato Head , Cocoon ...

Sundara Beach Club (Four Seasons Jimbaran)

By Jakarta100bars →
Sundara, the beach club attached to the Four Seasons Hotel in Jimbaran, opened in 2013 with the ambition of becoming the Ku De Ta of Southern Bali. They built it on the ruins of JPs, the previous beach restaurant of the hotel.  The owners spared no expenses to reach this objective. The designer team, also behind the Rock Bar in Ayana did a truly great job. Sundara is one of the best-looking restaurants I have seen in Bali. It is fancy and luxurious, but not too pretentious. It has an outside area with a long swimming pool, and an air-con area with a bar and comfortable leather sofas. You will get a nice view on Jimbaran beach, especially at sunset time. Before the opening, they brought in an army of foreign consultants for cocktails, wines, food, etc... Even now, they still have at least 3 foreigners to manage it: The Director of Operations, the Chef, and the Sommelier. The service is impressive. You are taken care of by friendly hostesses from the moment you step

Nammos Beach Club (Bali)

By Jakarta100bars →
Nammos Beach Club is the bar/restaurant of the Karma Kandara resort. Located on one of Bali's most beautiful beaches, it is unfortunately very expensive, snob and pretentious. It is also a pain in the ass to get there, especially if you don't have your own car.

Cocoon Beach Club (Bali)

By Jakarta100bars →
Cocoon is one of the hippest and most expensive beach clubs in Bali, along with KuDeTa and Potato Head. Located on Jalan Double Six in Seminyak, it is about 100 meters from the beach, and not far from many other renowned venues such as Bacio, La Vida Loca or Déjà Vu. In the inside, everything is perfect and definitely world-class: The food, the parties, the design, the atmosphere, etc... It is pricey, around Rp 600,000 for a meal per person, but you can also order just a drink for around Rp100,000. There are some more private areas for bigger spenders too in the form of "cabanas". Because it is flashy, exclusive and absolutely unauthentic, it is not for everyone. I'm sure that at least half of the people I know would prefer eating padang food in a warung instead of spending an afternoon in Cocoon.
