In this post, I am writing about the quality of the WIFI in the bars, restaurants or lounge that I visit in Jakarta.

Plaza Indonesia: Excellent WIFI in the entire mall. Up to 1MB per second. You need to enter your email to access.

Grand Indonesia: Not too fast, but free everywhere in the mall. You have to re-log in every 15 minutes.

Pacific Place: No Free WIFI.

Paul Pacific Place: Rather slow with errors (50kb/seconds)

Gandaria City: Free Wifi but average to slow speed.

Fx Lifestyle Center: No Free Wifi

CITOS (Cilandak Town Square): No Free Wifi

Modi & Rosa: No Wifi

Halo Niko Jalan Buncit: Good (200kb/sec)

Plan B: Average (under 100kb/sec)

Delifrance CITOS: Not working

Fish&CO Pacific Place: Not working.

Ismaya Catering Co: Fair to slow, you have to log in again every 30 minutes.

Mamacita: Wifi was not working when I visited but I could use the internet of Zhuma Japanese restaurant.

Zhuma Japanese restaurant: Average (100kb/second)

Tapas Movida (Cipete): Fast Wifi (up to 400kb/second)

The Seminyak (Cipete): Average (up to 100kb/second)

Liberica Pacific Place: Very slow, struggling to open pages.

Starbucks overall: Good WIFI

Coffee and Bean Senayan: Average

Bakerzin Central Park: Good

Bistronomy: Good (up to 200kb/second)

MAD: Slow (50kb/second)

Nip & Dram: Average with some errors (100kb/second)

Pong Me (Senopati): Excellent, the fastest WIFI have tried in Jakarta, up to 1,5MB per second

Holy Crab: Could not connect

QQ Kopitiam (Fx Lifestyle center): Not working

Cuadrilla Kemang: Very fast, up to 1MB per second

The Straits Canteen (Dharmawangsa Square): Slow Wifi

Eastern Promise - Average with some errors (it was not working for a few minutes at times)

Munchies (Gandaria): The Wifi was not working

Warung Ngupi Ngupi in Bellagio: Very good (up to 500k per second)

Incognito in Emporium Pluit Mall: Good

Tous Les Jours in Emporium Pluit Mall: Slow

Oh La La Maison: Fast (up to 800k/s)

Airport Jakarta Terminal 1C: Free but you have to log in every 10 minutes. Average speed 50k/s.

  1. Taman Suropati, a groovy and popular park with *may* still have free Wifi and free yoga classes (on Sunday). Can also run Jak restos thru wifi filter at http://www.zomato.com/id

  2. Dapur Selera on Jalan Prof. Dr. Supomo (Tebet area) is pretty good. No buffer on Grooveshark + Youtube opened simultaneously

  3. Soekarno-Hatta Airport Terminal 3: Excellent. I didn't measure with speed test but I know it's very good all over the terminal, but still have to re-log every 15 minutes.
